Yaeger Architecture Service Day
Volunteering for Truman Habitat
Yaeger Architecture team members gathered last Saturday in Independence to complete a service project for Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity. The Yaeger team worked together to paint the interior of a home that Habitat acquired recently. We enjoyed followship amongst team members and the Habitat for Humanity staff. Yaeger has worked on past Habitat projects that included demolition and the construction of an addition to a home.
Community Service & Team Building
Yaeger Architecture strives to gather quarterly outside of work hours to enjoy group activities and service projects. Enjoy this video about Yaeger’s Community Service initiative.
Truman Habitat
Through volunteer support and tax-deductible donations of monetary gifts and building materials, Habitat builds and rehabilitates simple, decent houses with the help of the homeowner (partner) families. Habitat houses are sold to partner families at no profit and financed with affordable, no-interest loans. The homeowners’ low monthly mortgage payments are recycled into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is used to build more houses.
