Super Bowl Squares
Yaeger employees played “Super Bowl Squares” for charity last week. Our staff added money to the pot and winners chose a charity to benefit. We ended up with three winners overall: Lori Madden, Tanisha Flewelling, and Rob Fish.
Lori donated her winnings to Wayside Waifs. Each one of her border collies, Jake, Maggie, and currently Marcus, were rescues and beloved members of the Madden family. Donations to Wayside Waifs provide life-saving medical care, safe shelter, nutritious food, and love to more than 6,000 abandoned, abused, and homeless pets each year.
Tanisha donated her winnings to Type 1 Diabetes Research Funding and Advocacy in honor of her daughter, Hannah. JRDF is leading the fight against type 1 diabetes by funding research, advocating for policies that accelerate access to new therapies, and providing a support network for millions of people around the world impacted by T1D.
Rob donated his winnings to the Heart of America Patriot Foundation. He has been volunteering with HOAPF since they started in 2012. HOAPF holds an annual benefit on September 11th. The Heart of America Patriot Foundation introduced the Patriot Benefit on September 11, 2012, Patriot Day, to raise money to achieve their mission to honor, support, and empower veterans.
Though we wished for a different Super Bowl outcome, Yaeger employees had a great time cheering for the Chiefs while supporting charities close to our hearts!
