Child Development Centers | McConnell AFB

McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas

Yaeger Architecture was the Project Manager, Architect, and Interior Designer leading the design effort for this design-build project providing whole building renovations to McConnell Air Force Base’s primary Child Development Centers (CDC).

The 36,535 SF renovation included adding a new 825 SF connector between the two buildings, replacing the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, communications, and fire protection systems. Architecturally, building 338’s floor plan was completely reconfigured to better align with current AFCEC CDC standards.

The Yaeger team partnered with Snodgrass and PEC. Total Cost: $9,455,000.
