Chicken N Pickle on the Prairie
Yaeger Architecture is the architect for two Chicken N Pickle projects that are currently under construction, and it just so happens that both locations have “Prairie” in the name. Around the office, you can hear people asking about the status of the projects and the question is typically followed up with “which one?”! Both projects are moving forward quickly and are targeting completion by the end of the year.
Yaeger staff visited the Prairiefire site in Overland Park, Kansas, last week, and Architectural Intern, Luke McElwain, led the tour. One highlight is the ice rink, which will be operational in colder months. Chicken N Pickle Overland Park features 6 indoor, 2 outdoor, and 2 outdoor covered courts. The restaurant building is approximately 20,000 SF featuring a casual, chef-driven restaurant, bar, and rooftop bar and deck.
The Grand Prairie, Texas, project will come online not long after Overland Park. This second Texas location is situated in Grand Prairie’s Epic Central development.
Chicken N Pickle also just announced a new Texas location at Delaney Vineyards in Grapevine, Texas, a Fort Worth suburb. The venue, for which Yaeger is also the architect, will feature bars, pavilions, and multiple dining areas, including one on the rooftop. Other amenities will include indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, shuffleboard, bocce ball courts, and lawn games.
