The Yaeger Architecture team has been utilizing AutoDesk’s REVIT platform for more than ten years. Today this includes utilization of AutoDesk’s A360 cloud environment which allows all project delivery team members to work in real-time.
Our team’s use of expanding technology does not stop with AutoCAD and REVIT platforms. The team has utilized UAVs, both fixed-wing and multi-rotor aircraft, at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas in support of a master planning task order. While the UAVs may be used for orthophotography; their real strength is capturing high-resolution oblique photos – including thermal imaging to aide in forensic building envelope investigation – and high-definition 4K video. Our team actively utilizes these tools as part of our facility assessments.
The future of Virtual Reality in architecture is very exciting. Architects will be able to design with their hands through Virtual Reality, much like a sculptor. As the technology advances and becomes more accessible, we are excited to explore opportunities and make them available to our clients.
