Housing Construction Updates
We have several exciting housing projects currently under construction and have enjoyed seeing the progress made over the past few months. Read on below for updates on three of our current projects.
Located in Kansas City’s Northland and in the heart of the Shoal Creek Valley master-planned community, Liberty at Shoal Creek offers residents 55 and better an active-lifestyle living option with multiple amenities. The project consists of a three-story building with internal courtyard, and features 185 Apartments comprised of 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom + den, 2 bedroom/1 bath, and 2 bedroom/2 bath units.
Gardens at Northgate Village, Phase IV
The Gardens at Northgate Village offers a fresh and unique concept in senior living. Conveniently located at 3000 Swift, in North Kansas City, Missouri, the community is situated in the heart of the Northgate Village development. Yaeger Architecture provided full design services for the Gardens at Northgate, Phases I-III. The complex is a mix of market rate and tax credit low income apartments. The first two phases consisted of 180 units in three buildings and was so successful that Yaeger Architecture was commissioned to design a third phase of the project consisting of an additional 76. The fourth phase adds 60 units.
915 Broadway Apartments
Yaeger Architecture designed the adaptive renovation of the historic 915 Broadway Apartments. The project, located in downtown Kansas City in the Garment District, will convert vacant buildings at 911 and 915 Broadway into 44 apartments with amenities and parking. Construction is slated to start June 1st.
